Answers to your most frequently asked questions.

What’s the difference between the SuperSaver, Economy and Budget Roller Banners as they all look the same?

As the price for each of these banners suggests they are not the same. So, let’s firstly look at what they do have in common. Each of these models work in the same way with a retractable graphic panel which extends to 2m and comes in a width size of 800mm. The same quality graphic material is also used in each case, 420gsm, 290 micron, with a grey backing to stop light coming through. The result is equally sharp reproduction of text and images in full colour and high resolution. Additionally, they all have the two adjustable feet for stability and come ready to use in their own carry case. That’s where the similarity ends.

The SuperSaver is a low cost, short term use banner which is not as robust as the other two simply because of the self- adhesive attachment of the graphic panel to the header bar and a less stable stand. The tension of the panel is not guaranteed either, so you may lose tension after a short while. The Economy Roller Banner is designed for light use but is not up to the job for frequent or long-term use. It is lightweight in nature and therefore suitable for one day events, short term exhibitions and static displays. Both the Economy and Budget use the snap rail system which is less fragile and longer lasting over time and are equipped with a sturdier stand. The Budget roller banner is available in two different widths, 800mm or 850mm, is suitable for long term or frequent use and comes with a choice of graphic material, the Supersmooth Lightstop or Textured Blackout PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate, a form of polyester.)

What’s the difference between Supersmooth Lightstop and Textured Blockout PET banner material?

The table below highlights the main variations between the two:

Supersmooth Lightstop Textured Blockout PET
420gsm 500gsm
290 micron 350 micron
Grey backing to stop light Textured surface to diffuse light
Excellent image reproduction Especially good for photography
Excellent flatness properties Excellent flatness and tensile strength

I have ordered the Banner Design Service. What do I do now?

Once you have selected the product of your choice, the Banner Design option and your order is confirmed, all you need to do is:

  • Email your high-resolution logo, your chosen images and a simple design brief making clear your specifications and any brand guidelines you may have to the Design Team. A simple design can be created in Word or PowerPoint. You can send these to briefs@eazy-print.com
  • If you don’t have any images just give us a call and we can sort that for you, although these are not included in the price of the service.
  • One of the designers will then email the proof to you for approval or amendments.
  • If you have any extra information to provide or would like to discuss your design in detail you can call one of the team any time.

Customers are reminded that selecting the Design Service will increase the delivery time by one or two days from receipt of your design brief.

What does 48-hour and 24-hour turnaround mean exactly?

Standard delivery of a Roller Banners product to your door is 48 hours. So, if you place your order and upload your design information by 4pm on a Monday, you will receive your parcel by the Wednesday.

Express delivery is 24 hours, which means an order placed by 2pm on a Monday will be delivered to your door by Tuesday.

Please note that turnaround times are based on working days; that’s Monday to Friday and does not include Public Holidays.

How quickly will my order arrive?

The turnaround times outlined above are based on typical orders and delivery can be affected by a number of variables:

  • Quantities
  • Order specification
  • Machine requirements
  • Delivery companies

But please be assured that we will do our very best to get your printed item with you in the quickest time possible.

Will I see a proof if I’m supplying print ready artwork?

No. We will assume that the design you submit will be print ready and therefore checked and doubled checked by you. Please ensure you have ‘proofed’ thoroughly by:

  • Checking the document for all spelling and grammatical errors (Use Word Spell Check to help).
  • Look for any colour issues; unreadable white text on yellow for example.
  • Does the layout and design work?
  • Ensure you haven’t breached any copyright regulations in your choice of images or logos.

We will do our best to ensure the files you send are correctly set up before going to print and provided you have closely followed our Artwork Guide there shouldn’t be any problems.

I didn’t upload my artwork when I ordered. How can I send it to you now?

Once you have placed your order you can go to “Upload Artwork”. Tap on “Send us your files” and follow the steps carefully making sure that you fill in your order number in the details/windows message. Due to the volume of files we receive daily we ask that you please email us to let us know when you have uploaded your print ready files.

Do you deliver internationally?

We can deliver abroad but ask that you email the address to us before placing an order so we can provide a quote for shipping. Once you have agreed the delivery charge, we can process your order manually.

Can I send you a design in Word or Power Point?

These are great programmes to put together a simple design to show your designer what you’d like to achieve. They are simple to use and have many of the assets you need to create your design, such as fonts, shapes, inserts and colours.

However, they are not graphic design programmes and so the artwork you put together will not be print ready, plus they have a habit of reducing the high quality of some logos and images causing pixellation. Nevertheless, they are useful tools in giving your designer a starting place from which to recreate your design to the best standards for printing, thus saving you time and money in the long run.

What design software can I use?

There is a vast array of graphic design software available and some of the most user friendly are listed below:

  • Adobe InDesign
  • Canva
